Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information Slide Share Downloader Free ("we", "the site") handles when you use the downloader and read our guides. The short version: we designed the service so there is very little data to talk about.

Information we process

• Presentation URLs you paste. The link is sent to our server, used once to locate the public slides, and is not stored in a database or tied to you afterward.
• Slide images. Slides stream from SlideShare's public CDN through our server directly to your browser. We do not keep copies of any file.
• Technical logs. Like any website, our hosting infrastructure may temporarily record standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse-prevention purposes, including rate limiting. Log retention is kept as short as practical.

Information we do not collect

• No accounts, emails, names, or passwords, the service has no registration.
• No copy of decks you download.
• No download history linked to your identity.
• No advertising trackers or third-party ad networks.

Analytics

If the site operator enables it, this site may load Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate usage (pages visited, approximate region, device type). Analytics loads only when a measurement ID is configured, respects standard browser privacy controls, and never receives the presentation URLs you download. You can block it with any content blocker without affecting the downloader.

Cookies

The core tool sets no cookies. Google Analytics, when enabled, sets its own cookies under Google's policies.

Third-party services

Downloading a deck involves two external parties: slideshare.net (whose public page is read) and SlideShare's image CDN (which serves the slide files). Their own privacy policies apply to those requests.
